VIP Escalation Routing Agent
Identifies high-value and at-risk customers in the support queue and automatically fast-tracks their tickets to senior agents with full account context attached.
Support queues typically treat every ticket with first-in-first-out priority, meaning a top-tier account with a contract renewal at risk can wait behind low-stakes password reset requests, and frontline agents often don't have visibility into which customers are strategically important until a manager intervenes after the fact
Account managers find out about a VIP's bad support experience only after the customer complains to their sales rep, by which point trust is already damaged
Manually flagging VIP accounts requires support leads to maintain spreadsheets that go stale as account tiers change
This agent cross-references every incoming ticket against CRM account tier, contract value, and renewal risk data in real time, and when a VIP or at-risk account is detected, immediately re-prioritizes the ticket, routes it to a senior or dedicated agent, and pushes full account context so the agent doesn't need to dig for history
The agent triggers on ticket creation across all channels and immediately queries the CRM for account tier, ARR, contract renewal date, and health score. Using a weighted scoring model combined with LLM-based issue severity classification, it determines whether the ticket qualifies for VIP fast-tracking, then re-prioritizes the ticket queue position, assigns it to a senior agent pool, and generates a condensed account brief (recent interactions, open opportunities, sentiment history) attached directly to the ticket. It simultaneously posts an alert to the assigned account manager's Slack channel or CRM task list when churn risk indicators are present.

- Determine whether the ticket meets the VIP fast-track threshold
Re-Route and Reassign
- Bump qualifying tickets to the top of the senior agent queue
- Assign to a dedicated VIP support pool or named account specialist where configured
- Adjust SLA timer to the elevated VIP response commitment
- Notify the assigned agent that the ticket has been fast-tracked and why
Assemble Account Context Brief
- Summarize recent support interaction history and resolution outcomes
- Pull open sales opportunities, upcoming renewal dates, and recent NPS or CSAT scores
- Highlight any prior unresolved complaints or repeat contact patterns
- Attach the condensed brief directly to the ticket interface
Alert Account Stakeholders
- Identify the account manager or customer success owner of record
- Push a real-time alert with ticket summary and urgency level via Slack or CRM task
- Log the escalation event to the account timeline for future reference
- Track resolution and notify the stakeholder when the ticket closes
