Interface Error Resolution Agent
Detects interface failures, classifies root causes, and guides rapid remediation of broken data feeds.
When ADT, lab, radiology, or billing interfaces fail, symptoms appear as missing results, registration delays, or claim holds—often hours after the root outage
On-call analysts dig through opaque engine logs without consistent taxonomy, extending MTTR and clinical risk
The Interface Error Resolution Agent detects failures early, classifies root causes, and guides rapid remediation so integration teams restore feeds before care and revenue are impacted
The agent monitors interface engines, queues, ACKs, and downstream freshness SLAs, clusters anomalies into root-cause classes, recommends runbook steps, opens tickets with evidence packs, and verifies recovery after fixes.
Detect Failures and Anomalies
- Watch message volume, error rates, NAK/NACK patterns, queue depth, and last-successful timestamps
- Compare against baselines by feed, hour-of-day, and maintenance windows
- Page or notify on critical feeds (labs, ADT, meds) when SLA breach thresholds are crossed
Classify Root Causes
- Cluster errors into classes: connectivity, authentication, schema/validation, partner outage, code-set drift, volume surge, disk/queue saturation
- Correlate with change calendar, certificate expiry, and partner status pages
- Attach sample failing messages and engine stack excerpts to the incident
Guide Remediation
- Recommend runbook steps (restart channel, renew cert, replay DLQ, enable fallback route)
- Create or update ITSM tickets with priority, impacted feeds, and clinical/revenue impact notes
- Coordinate partner communication templates for external outages
Verify Recovery and Prevent Recurrence
- Confirm message flow restored and backfill/replay completed for the outage window
- Measure MTTR, patient/claim impact, and residual backlog
- Propose permanent fixes (monitoring thresholds, schema tests, cert auto-renew) from post-incident patterns
